These studies were conducted in the vicinity of the Legnica Copper Smelter (the second article in Chemosphere has just been published \u2013 we invite you to read it). The obtained results pertain to the carbonaceous phases of PM2.5 dust particles in connection with the analysis of potential sources of pollution (low emissions and solid fuel combustion, long-distance transport of pollutants, and traffic-related pollution) and the meteorological conditions during the analyzed episodes of dust exceedances.
