Interreg V-A Czech Republic \u2013 Poland Project<\/h1>\n\n\n

Beginning 1 July 2022, we started the project GECON GAME – w poszukiwaniu skarb\u00f3w geopark\u00f3w [GECON GAME \u2013 in Search of Geopark Treasures]<\/strong>, co-financed by the European Union under Interreg V-A Czech Republic \u2013 Poland (project number CZ.11.2.45\/0.0\/0.0\/21_033\/0003121). The main objective of the project is to advance cross-border geotourism as a sustainable form of tourism, i.e. creating and introducing a cohesive, innovative cross-border geotourism product. A shared goal among project collaborators is to enhance the appeal of lesser-visited sites in the border area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Joint development of a cross-border geotourism product “GECON GAME \u2013 in Search of Geopark Treasures: 9 field games structured as routes with tasks (including 4 in the territory of the Sudeten Foothills Geopark in Poland and 4 in the territory of the Ralsko Geopark in the Czech Republic and one cross-border).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Joint cross-border product promotion campaign.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Cross-border exchange of experience and increased awareness of the geological heritage of the Czech-Polish borderland.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Removing barriers in the sphere of cooperation in the Polish-Czech borderland.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
