After completing your education, you will obtain the <strong>title of engineer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on knowledge about processes occurring within the Earth, minerals, and rocks formed as a result of these processes, and the history of the Earth, students gain knowledge from subjects that have practical significance for the development of the region and the country. They will be able to cooperate with specialists in various industries, such as construction, mining, sanitary engineering, land reclamation. The acquired knowledge will enable them to perform high-quality documentation of research results in the fields of hydrogeology, deposit geology, and engineering geology, in accordance with currently applicable laws and regulations. It will also allow them to prepare sozological studies in the field of environmental protection (e.g., environmental impact assessments, reclamation of degraded areas, waste disposal).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The knowledge, skills, and social competences implemented in the study program will allow achieving learning outcomes, leading to obtaining engineering competences for the general academic profile.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ugb-column ugb-column ugb-0699a89 ugb-column--design-plain ugb-main-block\"><div class=\"ugb-inner-block\"><div class=\"ugb-block-content\"><div class=\"ugb-column__item ugb-0699a89-column-wrapper\"><div class=\"ugb-column__content-wrapper\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading bs-naglowek-z-kolorem\"><strong>Practical classes and fieldwork<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Studies in this field of study incorporate a high proportion of practical classes (laboratory classes, project classes, fieldwork) into the program. A major advantage is the fieldwork in attractive regions of the country and abroad, including places like the Czech Republic and Austria. Field activities will give you a different approach to learning and socializing. Students also participate in scientific camps and expeditions to various parts of the world (Spitzbergen, Greenland, Indonesia, Chile, Scandinavia, Cyprus, Albania, and others). The unique &#8220;field&#8221; atmosphere of geological studies is something truly worth experiencing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During your studies, you will also have the opportunity to take part in internships offered by leading companies in the geological, mining, and exploration sectors, as well as by the government. While these internships aren&#8217;t mandatory, many of our students opt to take them.
