Georetum in Wojsławice

Did you know that the University of Wrocław operates not only in Wroclaw? Our university also runs its institutions in Karpacz or Białków, for example. For us, Wroclaw geologists, such an important place is Wojsławice, a district of the town of Niemcza, where the Wojsławice Arboretum is located. It features a great geological attraction – the Georetum, which was designed, among others, by geologists from our Institute: Prof. Dr. Teresa Oberc-Dziedzic, Dr. hab. Robert Tarka, Dr. Stanislaw Madej and Dr. Waldemar Sroka The Georetum exhibit presents the geological structure of the surrounding Niemcza-Strzelińskie Hills, where you will find, for example, a wonderful overview of rocks from this region. This place was best presented in Teleexpress TVP by the Georetum’s originator, Prof. Tomasz Nowak.
